Through performative and theatric means, Goldin+Senneby approach the abstract, virtual and often self-referential aspects of the world of finances. Their artistic research is rooted in a trans-disciplinary framework of specialized actors from diverse backgrounds.
Rebecca Anna Tess, Thomas Kilpper, Nora Schutz, Vincent Vulsma, Henrik Olesen, Wolfgang Breuer, Nine Budde, Sophie Reinhold and Yorgos Sapoutznis are connected by the German artists’ residence 'Villa Romana' in Florence.
The exhibition is organised owing to the Aachen Art Prize 2012, which this time is awarded to Phyllida Barlow. She will show seven new works especially created for the space.
