Seven inflatable sculptures will be installed in the streets and courtyards of the historical centre of Liège. For the occasion, Elvis Pompilio will create an inflatable hat. The artists are invited by Johan Muyle.
The Japanese term Tokonoma generally translates as ‘alcove’. The items usually displayed in a tokonoma are calligraphic and/or pictorial scrolls, arrangements of flowers, bonsai and okinomo - although traditionally, bonsai were considered too dirty for such a highly respected place.
